Action Step
- Make a list of all the fun nature destinations that you and your kids really enjoy. Get the kids involved and have them make their own list and then add your lists together.
- Sit down with your kids and discuss the activity that you’ll do this month and maybe a few months to follow. Base your decision on the season, what your kids want to do the most, and what’s financially feasible.

Set a goal to do something fun and different at least once every month. For some people, this might be going to a special destination like the zoo or a local lake. For others, those might be weekly activities. It’s going to vary from family to family, so don’t worry if someone’s monthly nature activity is actually your yearly activity. It’s not a competition!
